If you think you don’t like history, you have not seen it presented the way that Giant Squid badmsm can. Her lens Miss Sandy is a personal journey she takes her reader on with her. Miss Sandy is a B-26, and her story is told while badmsm is researching her father’s military history (Sgt. Melvin O. “Mo” Miles). She shares personal insight, Air Force tidbits, and even replies she gets from members of her dad’s platoon (the 729th Bomb Squadron). This is a lens that will keep you captivated from beginning to end (and I find that I check back to see if she has heard from any other fellow service members!).
