There’s only 42 days until Christmas! Are all of your Christmas lenses from last year updated and ready? Are your new Holiday lenses finished?

Countdown to Christmas is about Advent, and counting down to Christmas with Advent wreaths, rings, calendars and the Nativity. On the lens Christene explains the history behind each tradition and offers some beautiful examples using photos and product links.
In my opinion, Countdown to Christmas is a true Squidoo work of art and a perfect example of what a really great Christmas lens should look like. Take a few minutes to visit it now and then get back to work.

Welcome Giant Squid Greeters

With so many great lensmasters joining Squidoo everyday we needed some help to make sure we didn’t miss anyone deserving of the Giant Squid title and can you believe it? Not one. Not two . . . but three wonderful Giants came to our rescue.
I’d like to introduce you to our new team of Giant Squid Greeters,

Now that the Giant Squid Community Showcase is all unpacked, set up, and cozy in it’s new home here at http://www.giantsquidshowcase.com, we’re ready to announce the very first winner in our Choose Your Favorite Giant Squid Lens competition where YOU choose your favorite giant lenses to be featured here every friday. Of course these lenses must be made exclusively by Squidoo’s Giant Squids.
