“Finally attaining Giant Squid status has been the most empowering achievement for me recently. I’ve wanted to try for this milestone for many sessions since I joined Squidoo, but real life issues seemed to always cross paths and force me to change my priorities for a time. Healing from a personal loss has taken almost two years, and will likely continue for the rest of my life. It’s only been in the last 2-3 months or so that I’ve really been working online full time again.

Then along came Bev, aka BevsPaper . I met Bev on an ecommerce forum for small independent sellers, some of us former eBay sellers. I had shared some tips with her back then. I received a wonderful note from Bev, which lit up my day. Little did I expect that what she was asking my “permission” about would turn into “A Squid Is Born. Her module, “It All Began With Sylvia” brought unexpected tears of joy and gratitude to my eyes. It reminded me how important it is to give away what you know. It reminded me that sharing your knowledge is the most important thing. Knowledge of any kind is too important to keep to yourself. I’m so very proud of Bev and her wonderful accomplishments on Squidoo. I hope you’ll visit all her lenses; they are amazing!

And so, I ran the Race Fantastic with the best group of New Giants there is! Lack of sleep, coffee, tweeting, chocolate, a little more coffee, Farrah Fawcett’s death, still more coffee, Michael Jackson’s death, too many snacks and here I am! And I couldn’t be more happy to be in such incredible company!
