Today the Squidoo spotlight shines brightly on 100 Club Member EclecticEducation.

1.  How on Earth were you able to find the time to build over 100 lenses while homeschooling your children?  I can’t even imagine.

lol!!! My children were my motivation.  The majority of my lenses are homeschool related, I basically did my lesson planning on Squidoo.  When I would think of a new idea of what I wanted to do with my children, I would go searching on the web.  I used Squidoo as my place to bookmark the things that I found.  It was a win/ win.  I had nice lesson plans, I had a lot of lenses and others could utilize my lessons this way.

2.  Which of your many lenses was first and what inspired you to write it?

I believe my first lens was Interactive Notebooks.  What inspired me to write it?  I think it was partially Jimmie.  Her lens on lapbooking was probably the first lens I had ever seen, so it was what I measured lenses by.  I loved lapbooking, but since she had already done it, I felt I needed to come up with something new.  Interactive Notebooks are similar in idea to lapbooks, so I only drifted a little away from her idea, but still came up with a new lens.

3.  Why did you choose the name eclecticeducation?

I have a blog that I started about 3 years ago called Eclectic Education because in my homeschooling I use a bit of this and a little bit of that and my blog is like that too.  When I started at Squidoo about a year ago, I wanted continuity, so I continued with the name.

4.  Plain or Peanut?

Oh, definitely Plain!
