Hi!  I’m lensmaster _Joan_.  The lens I would like for you to take a look at is A revision of Cinderella .  It was one of the earliest of my Squidoo lenses.

I made this lens because I am a stepmother and I was tired of hearing stepmothers constantly depicted as wicked and cruel.  For at least three years I had been telling myself that “someday” I was going to do a rewrite of Cinderella, one that took a positive view of blended families.  But it never got past the idea stage until I got involved with Squidoo.  Squidoo was the motivation I needed to finally sit down and write out the whole story.  It was a lot of work but also very satisfying and a lot of fun.

One of the things I love about Squidoo is that I can have lots of separate web pages on completely different topics.  My main niche is choir directing and gospel music, but I can still write some fiction on the side if the mood strikes. ~ _Joan_
