Not sure any of you noticed but in trying to give you more readable links here at the Showcase, I switched themes and inadvertently lost my ability to log-on for the last 2 days and so I apologize for the lateness of this post
Sparing any more tech trouble, and from now on, each Tuesday our Giant Squid Greeters will be giving us updates on their individual team’s progress on the road to Gianthood and 100 Club Membership in the Giant Squid Challenge September 2009.
This week we are looking at each team’s first lens posted.
The 1st lens submitted at the WiWon (Willow’s Wonder Squids) team was The Drunk by LizMac60. LizMac60 is the mother of MeltedRachel, one of our newest Giant Squids from the June Challenge. Looks like Mom is following the footsteps of her daughter, instead of the other way around!
The Jolly Judicious Jetsetters-2 are off to a rousing start! We had 17 lenses posted after midnight on August 1, 2009—and the plexos continue to grow daily! Our first posted lens was from missbat, The Goonies House. We are having fun with a very active forum and weekly chats on our ning—we are learning and growing together!
Team One had a fantastic start on August first. The plexos opened at 12 am EST, and we had our first lens in the plexo two minutes later. Congratulations to Sylvestermouse for being the first one to post her lens, Hangin’ With A Luna Moth.
Everything is going great; the lenses are showing lots of heart, and this team leader could not be more proud!
