stargazerlm9be0a6ee3f0807586f8c8ce9529c3556_1219556639housewifeI asked some of  our newest 100 Club Members, why?

What motivated them to make 100 lenses? How long did it take? And…?

Here’s what Stargazer00 told me:

“I was not really thinking about going for the 100 Club because I didn’t think I had enough ideas. Then ThomasC challenged me to do a lens on each of the aircraft carriers. That was 11 lenses and then I was into lens creation mode! I did a series of 5 lenses on my husband’s Vietnam experiences which I had been meaning to do for a while. I did a lensography of my Navy lenses for my 100th lens.

It is fairly easy to keep the navy lenses updated because I subscribe to a navy news feed which gives me about 20 links daily to navy news. Often there is something in there that I can use to update one of my navy lenses.

The aircraft carrier lenses were a good idea because they allowed me to feature the navy shirts that I make at Cafe Press. Most of my Cafe Press traffic comes from Squidoo. (There’s a message there!)

I think it took me from May 1 to June 30 to make about 26 lenses to be able to apply for 100 Club.

I also credit, Joan’s Jolly Judicious Jetsetters: I loved being able to add a new lens to the plexo! This was motivation. Thank you Joan!

Another fabulous source of motivation was and is our little Squidoo Mastermind Group/Ning. The group consists of 7 handpicked lensmasters and we brainstorm, advise, encourage, critique, teach, suggest and collaborate. It has been so valuable! I heartily recommend doing it. Thanks to all of them for cheering me on to the 100 Club! On this lens there are some suggestions about how to start your own Squidoo Mastermind group.

Success Quotes from Napoleon Hill

Congratulations on 100 Club, Dianne. Enjoyed the JJJJs with you, and you made some really great lenses during the challenge!! :)

  2. Squidoo Lens says:

Some time when you crossed a border than desire to reach at another border rises. Similar is the case in this 100 as well.

After reaching at 50 you know every ins and out of Squidoo and such confidence forced you to create more 50 lenses.
